Back In The 1980's....

Here is some more information
Guitars & Amps
Matt’s “go to” amp is a Mesa Boogie and has sounds that range from a sparkly, deep, rich clean to a wildly aggressive, saturated haven. Due to the nature of Matt’s playing, his other amps are very versatile as well. He keeps a collection of Fender, Peavey, Hughes & Kettner and Traynor guitar amplifiers. His guitar effects have progressed from a chain of analog stomp boxes to his digital multi effects G-System. His guitars range from Telecasters to Les Pauls with a couple acoustics in the mix.
Other Instruments
Guitar is Matt’s main strength, but he is no slouch when it comes to other instruments. He can play the bass, drums and keyboard style instruments as well. His main synth keyboard is a Yamaha Motif, but he also uses the synth sounds on a computer with different midi controllers. Also, vocally, he is a tenor by nature. He has sung lead and backup harmonies for many popular bands in Montana.
Music Styles
There is so much music out there in the world which is great because Matt’s appetite for different styles of music is big. Michael Jackson was possibly the biggest influencer, but there were so many others like: Toto, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower Of Power, Manhattan Transfer, Chick Corea and Lee Rittenhour to name a few. Bollywood, Metal, Folk, Hip Hop, Rock, Funk, Pop, Classical, New Age, Disco, Techno, Dubstep, etc. all have a place in Matt’s aural diet.
